I offer coaching, parent-coaching, counseling & EMDR for 1) trauma, 2) attachment & relationship work, 3) anxiety & 4) reaching goals. I help you create lasting change by identifying & replacing unconscious limiting beliefs with empowered beliefs. My Background and Approach
I specialize in trauma and attachment work. "Attachment work" resets the way our nervous systems got set up for relationship: from the not-so-secure (coping patterns we learned that are now getting in our way) back to secure. And with Internal Family Systems work, we work with the wisest part of yourself & those parts that need your help. My clients love EMDR work because it truly desensitizes your nervous system from being triggered and reacting in ways that are not working. It also installs new chosen ways you want to feel and respond in different areas of your life now. I also use some other evidence based practices that help shift what may unconsciously make it harder to reach your goals. I work with adults, parents, and children with their parents, starting in the prenatal & infancy period, including birth trauma, all the way to 10 years old. I also work much with leadership, women's issues & reclaiming one's voice, courage & resilience in adults and children.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Brene Brown, a researcher on vulnerability, courage and leadership says “Write a new ending for yourself, for the people you’re meant to serve and support, and for your culture.” I believe that no matter where we're at in our lives, we can write a new ending that involves healthy connection and how that helps us evolve. The thing is, we're more powerful in creating those new endings when we find support and mentoring...someone who will be in our corner, collaborating with us and even help mirror back to us what they're are seeing so we can stay on track with that new ending we want to write. When that someone can also help us learn & use new tools, we can go so much farther & faster toward what we want. I am a person who believes in human potential and who will stand with you for your growth, your dreams & you leading your life from your wisest self.
