About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who feels stuck in patterns that no longer serve them and wants to better understand how past experiences are showing up in their emotions, relationships, and body. I especially enjoy working with teens, young adults, adults, and couples who are ready to explore anxiety, self-worth, trauma, relationship patterns, or emotional disconnection through IFS, somatic work, and a compassionate, experiential approach.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 25 years of experience working with teens, young adults, adults, and couples. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-worth, relationship and communication struggles, and helping clients understand how past experiences may be showing up in their present lives and relationships. My approach incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sandtray Therapy, and other experiential approaches to help you better understand yourself, connect with your emotions and body, and gently shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more grounded, connected to yourself and others, and more embodied—giving you greater freedom to approach your life and relationships in ways that feel authentic to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel seen, heard, accepted, and valued for who they are. I strive to create an inclusive, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where people of all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and life experiences can feel safe bringing their whole selves into the room. I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, connection, and the belief that each person has an inherent capacity for growth and healing. I believe our relationships, families, communities, and life experiences shape us in meaningful ways, and I approach each person's story with respect rather than judgment. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with the parts of you that may have been lost or pushed aside, and discover what feels authentic and meaningful for you.
