My clients are busy adults who are so much more than their anxiety and depression. They want relationship oriented care that is personalized for them - addressing not just medications but also helping them develop healthier habits and deeper insights so they can feel more grounded in their lives. They’re looking for a mental healthcare provider who’s going to be hands-on and help them create a tailored plan that truly fits their life and their lifestyle.
My Background and Approach
As a board certified PA in psychiatry, I've spent the 12 years working in mental health as well as 3 years in primary care. This experience allows me to dig deep into the details of your life and create a wholistic plan to get you feeling more like yourself again. Psychiatry should be a relationship as much as medication. Our time together won't be awkward, stuffy or inconvenient; but a welcome time for you to invest in yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that medication for mental health isn’t one size fits all, and it definitely isn’t just about treating an illness. It’s about addressing all the facets of your mental health so that we're not just managing your symptoms, but improving your life. I'm an enthusiastic but black thumbed gardener, an avid reader of cheesy novels, and the mom to two kids and way too many pets. I wholeheartedly support those in the LGBTQ community and those with backgrounds that are different from my own.
