About My Clients

Those who come to me are struggling with trauma that is interfering with their best selves and their ideal life. They have challenges with living in the present moment, and feel consumed by unwanted thoughts or emotions. They simply want to feel happier, be more free, and find connectedness and belonging with themselves and others. If this resonates with you, come talk to me. I have experience with diverse populations, and work with teens and adults across the lifespan.

My Background and Approach

My intention is to provide you with a space of warmth, nonjudgment, and adaptability to create a tailored therapeutic journey together. You are unique, and I use a variety of different approaches based on your needs. Along with therapy through Telehealth, I can offer ecotherapy sessions for those who find traditional talk therapy intimidating or awkward. This may look like “walk and talk” sessions, or simply therapy in a natural setting. If curious, come talk to me. I will bring my skills in experiential, nature, and mindfulness therapy along with cognitive techniques to meet you exactly where you are and where you’d like to go. You have taken the first step, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you for the remaining steps to come.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that no matter what people have been through, they are all capable of healing. Everyone needs some extra support sometimes. There is a misconception that going to therapy makes you "weak." I've heard so many times how people wait to seek therapy because they feel their problems "aren't that big of a deal" or "someone is always going through worse." Comparison can be a dangerous trap, and your struggles are real, important, and are showing up for a reason. It takes a lot of courage and inner strength to be vulnerable. It's a risk to show someone a piece of yourself that you fear may be judged or rejected. It's through this risk that you find the freedom. The freedom to be authentic, to be brave, and to walk through life with more ease. I understand firsthand the power of therapy, and how important it is to find someone you connect with. I'd be honored to be that person, and you owe it to yourself to find the right fit.
