About My Clients
I work with clients of all ages my passion is in the college, young adult and teenage populations inclusive of individual, couple, and family sessions. I have a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community, ethically non-monogamous individuals and couples, and people within the kink scene. Overall, I work hard to foster a warm, safe, and engaged environment through my therapeutic practice.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master’s and Specialist degrees (M.Ed., Ed.S.) in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Florida in 2020 and I enjoy helping clients navigate various issues including life transitions, relational conflict, grief and loss, identity exploration, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. I also have training in helping individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and panic disorder through exposure and response prevention (ERP). I often integrate humanistic, person-centered, and systemic perspectives into my counseling sessions. I view therapy as a collaborative effort between the client and the therapist where we can both be authentic with one another. I believe that the power of the therapeutic relationship is by far the most important component that exists between a counselor and their client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I invite you to reach out to me if you feel that you are ready to begin your counseling journey, or if you have any questions about this process. I am ready to help you along your path regardless of where it takes you. I look forward to seeing you!
