About My Clients
I see many types of clients, including teens, college students, parents, LGBTQ+ clients, enm/polyamorous clients, client's with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, and other mood disorders.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master's in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College in 2021. While I decided to not to pursue my art therapy license at this time, I do still utilize the knowledge I gained from my master's program to help me with my therapy practice. I utilized an electric approach to therapy, integrating CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, humanistic therapy, solution-based therapy, and other approaches to help each one of my client's with their unique issues and concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone needs a community, people they can use as a support to help them when needed, and sometimes that community may start out as just having a therapist. Someone who will help you feel comfortable, will listen without judgment, but will challenge you when needed. I also believe that therapists are human and that I will be professional, but I will also be a human. I will be goofy when needed to cut the tension, I'll call you out when I feel you need a wake-up call, but overall, I will be here to help you through life. Outside of being a therapist, I am a happy queer person, with a dog, a cat, and full of curiosity.
