Ideally, my clients will be committed to treatment and will trust the process, not looking for a quick fix. All life changes require a new mindset and needs lots of support and this takes time. There are some quick exercises and homework that can be used and that work immediately but the rest is long term. Think of it as going to the gym for your mental health and your goals might be fulfilled in the future but you will see micro results along the way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I can relate to any minority group. Being a Latina woman in NY has not been easy and I have endured all kinds of racism and sexism. I believe my job is to help anyone achieve a good quality of health. and life What we all have in common is a heart and soul and the desire to be happy. We all have the same basic needs such as to belong, be accepted and loved. All humans suffer and I would like to help in my capacity. I might not share your particular lifestyle but I still care for you as a human being and I am no one to judge. I dont allow my biases to exist in my mindset very long. I take Person Centered classes and use this approach to help anyone in need. We are all on a continuum of learning and growing. I have to work on myself in some areas as well...
