About My Clients
I believe this is YOUR therapy, and you will be treated with respect and caring. What do you need to process today? How would you like to share? Therapy is a collaboration, that will assist you to finally better manage intense emotions and creating strong mental health.
My Background and Approach
I have been in the field for about 10 years, and a Licensed Associate Counselor for five years, (passing the National Counselors Exam, in 2016). I have extensive education, first, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, followed by a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I have multiple certifications in Crisis/First Responder, Illness, Management and Recovery, and the Neurobiology of Addiction (to name a few). I specialize in Addiction and have an extensive background in ADHD, and Learning Disabilities. My modalities consist of CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, to name a few. I believe in a holistic approach to treat the whole person, create self-growth, and become flexible within emotions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all individuals should be treated with respect, first and foremost. I believe each individual can find peace, can better manage intense emotions. Negative thought streams can be altered, to create productive thoughts and actions.
