About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who may look like they have it all together but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Maybe life hasn’t gone the way you expected, or you’re navigating a relationship challenge, anxiety, trauma, or a difficult diagnosis. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space to help you understand what’s keeping you stuck, find practical ways to cope, and move toward a life that feels more like you.
My Background and Approach
I began my career 14 years ago as a social worker in child protective services and later worked alongside a police department. In those roles, I met many people navigating difficult circumstances who could have benefited from greater mental health support. That experience inspired me to return to school and learn how to provide just that. Along the way, life brought unexpected challenges of my own, including a chronic health diagnosis that deepened my understanding of the importance of caring for my own mental health. Today, I bring both my professional experience and the perspective gained through life’s unexpected turns into my work with clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported, and that therapy should be accessible regardless of someone’s circumstances or ability to pay. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different walks of life, and I’ve learned that you can never really know someone’s story just by looking at them. I try to meet people where they are, without judgment or expectations about where they “should” be. Life can be messy, complicated, and sometimes just plain hard. I’m not here to tell you how to live your life or to have all the answers. I’m here to listen, help you make sense of what you’re going through, and give you tools to move forward in a way that feels right for you. I truly believe people can grow and create meaningful change when they feel safe enough to be themselves.
