About My Clients
I have worked with clients of various populations, including adolescents and adults, and in various mental health settings, including psychiatric hospitals, treatment centers and private practice clinics. I also specialize in eating disorders, as I worked at an eating disorder treatment center for one year. No two stories are the same, which is what makes therapy so powerful and beneficial for each individual on their own unique journey.
My Background and Approach
After receiving my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 2017, I worked as a mental health worker at a treatment center for individuals with various mental illnesses. I, then, pursued my Masters of Social Work at Columbia University, where I interned at Fuller Psychological and Family Services as well as at Las Encinas Hospital. After receiving my MSW in 2020, I began my associate training at La Vie Counseling Center and have been training there since August 2020. I received my license in October 2024. Because I have worked with different populations, I have seen a range of patients from those struggling with severe depression and suicidal ideation to those with schizophrenia at a low-functioning level. Since working in an outpatient setting, I tend to work with clients who struggle with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders and trauma.
