About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, emotionally stuck, or simply exhausted from trying to manage everything alone. My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, and life transitions. Together, we focus on creating a safe, supportive space to process challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience supporting adolescents and adults in outpatient, IOP, and PHP settings. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, stress, burnout, and major life transitions. My style is warm, supportive, and relatable. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and never judged. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and human. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT while also adapting sessions to fit each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve a therapy space where they don’t have to mask, over-explain themselves, or pretend they’re okay. I value honesty, humor, empathy, and real human connection in therapy. I recognize that many people are navigating stressors that extend beyond themselves, including systemic inequities, discrimination, burnout, and the pressure of simply existing in today’s world. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, affirmed, and supported exactly as they are. Healing is not linear, and my role is not to judge or “fix” people, but to help them better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
