About My Clients
I work best with Queer+, Trans*, Neurodivergent, Kinky, Non-monogamous, Witchy, Geeky, creative, and otherwise script-resistant humans. My clients are often questioning identity, desire, gender, sexuality, relationship structures, boundaries, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, or inherited “shoulds.” Together, we deconstruct the scripts that helped you survive but no longer fit, then build something more honest, embodied, and alive.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AzBBHE approved supervisor, and Ph.D. student in Critical Human Sexualities located in Arizona. My clinical work is Queer-Affirming, Neurodiversity-Affirming, Sex-Positive, Kink-Aware, and Polyamory/Non-monogamy-Affirming. I draw from systems theory, narrative therapy, attachment, parts work, somatic awareness, Feminist/Queer theory, and geek therapy. In therapy, I’m less interested in “fixing” you and more interested in helping you understand the patterns, roles, survival strategies, and cultural scripts shaping your life. We might explore boundaries, jealousy, desire, identity, family systems, relational ethics, self-trust, shame, or the grief of becoming more real. I bring warmth, humor, clinical skill, and a deep respect for complexity. You do not have to translate your queerness, neurodivergence, relationship structure, fandom references, spiritual weirdness, or erotic self into something more acceptable before we begin.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is not about becoming normal. I do not trust normal; normal has done a lot of harm while wearing a very boring outfit. I believe queer, trans, kinky, neurodivergent, disabled, non-monogamous, spiritual, creative, and otherwise marginalized people deserve care that does not treat their lives as a problem to solve. I believe sexuality, gender, embodiment, relationship, spirituality, grief, culture, and power all live in the same house. As a Queer, Gender-Fluid, Neurospicy, Kinky, Non-Monogamous, AFAB, white therapist, scholar, and single parent, I care deeply about LGBTQ+ affirmation, neurodiversity-affirming care, consent culture, reproductive justice, relational autonomy, and anti-oppressive practice. Therapy can be sacred and practical: a place for tears, swearing, nervous system repair, accountability, and asking what life could feel like if it were organized around consent instead of compliance.
