Welcome to Bright Pine Behavioral Health – Clinic Director Dr. Kat Lewitzke PsyD LP is focused on providing thorough and accurate diagnostic results through neuropsychological testing to children, adolescents, and adults in the state of Michigan. She specializes in assessments of autism spectrum disorders, academic performance, ADHD, anxiety, depression, pre-surgical screenings, giftedness, and more. My Background and Approach
Dr. Lewitzke is the founder of Bright Pine Behavioral Health and a Michigan native, where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies. After finishing her post-doctoral training in assessment and neuropsychology at a private practice under board certified and board eligible supervisors, Dr. Lewitzke spent a semester teaching at Oakland Community College. Recognized as a Metro-Detroit Mom Approved Doc by Metro Parent, Dr. Lewitzke specializes in assisting individuals diagnosed with ADHD, autism, academic difficulties, behavioral concerns, emotional difficulties, and giftedness. She takes a systems and strength-based approach to understanding and designing treatment plans, and is known for being a compassionate clinician who advocates for her patients and their families. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lewitzke has been appointed as a board member for the Michigan Association of Gifted Children (MAGC) and provides training and supervision to other clinicians.
