About My Clients
Our society likes to focus on happiness as the ultimate life goal, but happiness is just one of many feelings we experience and we can often feel stuck trying to achieve the impossible. In therapy, we will work on finding purpose, balancing your inner and outer life, and equipping you to handle what is out of your control.
My Background and Approach
There is not a one size fits all approach to therapy - each of my clients has their own unique treatment plan. I believe that you are the expert on your life and experiences. I draw from the strength-based, mindful, and humanistic perspectives and believe that you have the capacity for growth, change, and alignment. We will uncover your strengths and face challenges together. At the end of our time together it is my hope that you feel whole, connected, and confident.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a therapist who is fully accepting of diverse identities and cultures. I believe mental health and wellness is something that can always be improved and strengthened. I know there is stigma around mental illness and I promise to always see you above and beyond your diagnosis. I have my masters degree and clinical license in social work with a history working in clinical health care and acute mental health settings.
