About My Clients
Are you feeling anxious about your future, unsure of who you are, or worried about letting others down? Maybe you’re balancing school, family expectations, and trying to figure out your next step—all while feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Katherine understands these challenges firsthand. She helps young adults and college students build confidence, manage anxiety, and create a life that feels authentic, balanced, and true to who they are.
My Background and Approach
Katherine believes therapy should feel like a genuine, supportive conversation—not a clinical checklist. She blends evidence-based practices like CBT and trauma-informed care with warmth, humor, and deep empathy. Her approach helps clients explore their stories with compassion while learning practical tools to manage anxiety, self-doubt, and life transitions. As a bilingual Latina therapist, Katherine values authenticity and connection, creating a safe space where clients can show up exactly as they are—no judgment, just understanding and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a space where real change and self-discovery begin. From both my personal and professional experience, I’ve learned that growth happens when we feel safe, supported, and truly seen. Moving from New Jersey to California on my own taught me what it means to take risks, start fresh, and trust yourself even when things feel uncertain. I’ve also been in therapy myself, and it showed me how healing can unfold when we give ourselves permission to be open, curious, and honest about our emotions. In our work together, I want therapy to feel like a collaborative space—not just a place to talk, but a space to grow, build confidence, and create the life you want. I believe that every small step toward understanding yourself matters, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you learn to see your worth, strengthen your voice, and move toward lasting change.
