My Background and Approach
We are all flawed with both strengths and weaknesses. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy; rather, I believe in creating a safe, friendly, non-judgmental space that allows for honesty, healing, and growth. I will meet you where you are and work with you to help you create the life you are striving for. My background in substance use gave me the opportunity to work with individuals from all walks of life. Whether it's substance use, anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, relationship difficulties, or another struggle, please reach out. I use a variety of different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Beharior Therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive processing therapy and the Gottman Method for couples.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Just like you, I am a human with strengths and weaknesses. I believe that everyone could benefit from someone supportive to talk to at some point in their life. I care deeply about my community and helping those around me. I am passionate about working with people who have been subject to the criminal justice system or are struggling with drugs or alcohol. I am also passionate about helping mothers regain their footing and reclaim their identities.
