About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. They want to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, build healthier relationships, and feel more confident in their daily lives. Together, we work toward meaningful CHANGE.
My Background and Approach
My background includes providing mental health services in a state psychiatric hospital, a men's correctional facility, and private practice settings, where I facilitated both individual and group therapy. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs, from acute mental health concerns to long-standing emotional and relational challenges. I view therapy as a partnership and work to create a space where clients feel respected, supported, and able to show up authentically. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client's goals, strengths, and circumstances. Whether you are working through a difficult season, processing past experiences, improving relationships, or seeking personal growth, my goal is to help you gain insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has inherent worth and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. My work is grounded in the belief that healing often begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I value authenticity, curiosity, personal growth, and the courage it takes to ask for help during difficult seasons of life. I am passionate about increasing access to mental health care and supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges, whether they are facing anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, or major transitions. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy contributing to my community through advocacy, education, and volunteer efforts that support emotional well-being and connection. I believe that growth is possible at every stage of life and that meaningful change often happens through small, intentional steps taken over time.
