About My Clients
If you're here, something has brought you to this point — maybe a specific event, maybe a weight you've carried for a long time, maybe a loss that's changed everything. Whatever it is, I want you to know: you don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to have the words for it yet. You can heal — and we are here to hold space and walk with you on your healing journey.
My Background and Approach
My approach centers on meeting you exactly where you are — no judgment, no pressure to have the right words, no timeline you're expected to follow. I primarily use Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS), two approaches that work beneath the surface to help you process what's happened, not just talk around it. Brainspotting helps your brain and body release trauma and grief at their source, often creating relief where talk therapy alone hasn't been enough. IFS gently helps you reconnect with every part of yourself — even the parts still grieving, still guarded, or still trying to make sense of what happened — I am certified a certified brainspotting therapist and I'm licensed in Virginia, West Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Indiana, Florida, and Maryland. Healing doesn't mean forgetting, and it doesn't mean rushing past what hurts. It means finding your way back to steadiness, to trust, to yourself — I'd be honored ot walk the healing journey with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Suffering and challenges are part of the human experience — but so are hope and healing. I believe we can hold room for both rainbows and clouds, and that we were never meant to walk the healing journey alone. The parts of us that adapted to manage trauma — the parts that learned to protect, to shut down, to stay in control — did so to keep us safe. Those same parts can heal, too. They can learn to trust again, to hope again, and to help carry the healing forward, rather than carrying the weight alone. Healing is possible, even with deep trauma we've carried for a lifetime. There's no way around it — you have to go through it — but healing is possible, and healing begins with you.
