I have a desire to work with individuals dealing with various issues such as generational trauma, emotional inheritance, complex stress, feelings of being abnormal or imperfect (basically not fitting in), complicated parent or family relationships, partner or spouse complexities, concerns regarding intimacy and sexual distress, parenting fatigue, caregiver burnout, ADHD and neurodivergent mental health needs, education worker strain, & first responder and medical provider stress
My Background and Approach
I am a board-approved National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor - MHSP (T) in the state of Tennessee. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Capella University September 2022, my Bachelor of Art in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Mississippi College, and before that an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Hinds Community College.

Hi, I’m Katherine I’m here to share space with you, so you feel heard, safe, and able to grow beyond shame, distress, or any other barrier standing in your way. I’m here to help you develop the right environment and relationships so you can learn to thrive in your life rather than struggle to survive. I’m here to be your ally and advocate along your mental health journey. I’m here to use a humanistic approach to counseling and incorporating person-centered, feminist, & gestalt therapeutic methods to assist you in understanding who you are & how you want to live your life. I’m here to enjoy collaborating with you when you find yourself in a season of confusion and desire to renew yourself & discover a new path to health & wellness.
