About My Clients
I work with adolescents (16+) and adults navigating trauma and PTSD, mood and personality disorders, co-occurring substance use concerns, and challenges related to identity and self-image. I also support professionals and athletes managing high expectations, performance pressure, and the internal toll of always needing to “hold it together.”
My Background and Approach
As a former high-performing athlete myself, I understand the mindset of discipline, achievement, and external success — as well as the quiet pressure and identity struggles that can exist beneath it. Many of my clients appear high-functioning outwardly, yet internally feel exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or disconnected from themselves. Growing up in an immigrant household and straddling two cultures has deeply shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and belonging. I recognize the unique stressors that can come with cultural expectations, intergenerational experiences, and navigating multiple worlds. I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client’s background, values, and lived experience. I am fluent in Ukrainian.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your individual needs. You remain in control of your goals and the pace of our work. My role is to offer structure, clinical expertise, and a steady presence while supporting your autonomy. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, REBT, and Adlerian therapy to support emotional regulation, identity development, and sustainable change. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and welcome clients using insurance or private pay. Reaching out for therapy is a meaningful step, and I invite you to connect so we can determine whether working together feels like the right fit.
