About My Clients
Clients can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. The initial visit is focused on getting to know you, including your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and what brings you to care at this time. I will ask about your mental health, medical background, lifestyle, and goals to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs. We will also discuss any prior treatment experiences and what has or has not worked for you.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Columbia University. My clinical training includes experience in outpatient community health, school-based mental health, private practice, and child, adolescent, and adult inpatient psychiatry. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe effective mental health care begins with understanding the whole person. I work with clients to develop treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, needs, and preferences. I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management while prioritizing education, open communication, and shared decision-making. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health.
