About My Clients
My clients come to me with a variety of pressing issues. I specialize in seeing adults who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, and ADHD. I also have experience working with clients who are navigating anxiety, OCD, substance use, trauma, ADHD, work stress, depression, and bullying. I have a warm, empathetic style, and I tailor my approach to fit the needs of each one of my clients. I occasionally work with children, adolescents, and couples.
My Background and Approach
I worked for three years at the Seattle Children's Hospital inpatient psychiatric unit, in which I gained vast knowledge and experience. I continued my education at Pepperdine University, where I earned my Master of Clinical Psychology degree with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. During the program, I interned at the Clare Matrix Residential Treatment Center. I have also worked at The Hive of Hope group practice, Pacific MFT Network group practice, and Lightfully Behavioral Health residential facility. I have been seeing clients since January of 2021. I use CBT, DBT, ERP, and Client-Centered Therapy approaches in my practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we cannot figure out everything on our own. Sometimes we need a different perspective to help us see ourselves or a situation in a different light. I am committed to being a curious, empathic, and thoughtful therapist for my clients. I strive to provide the tools and education to help them reach their goals and overcome the struggles they are experiencing. I pride myself on relating to my clients on a deep level. I am committed to standing up for peoples' rights, especially those who identify with underprivileged groups. I am committed to continuously learning and providing a safe, judgment-free space for my clients.
