About My Clients
I provide a warm and comfortable space for my clients where they are unconditionally accepted as they are. Every part of you is welcome here. I enjoy working with a broad range of issues, however, I specialize in sexual trauma and addiction. Couples and teenage girls are also an area of focus.
My Background and Approach
I work mostly from an attachment, psychoanalytical, person-centered approach. I am trained in EMDR & have additional trainings through Prepare/enrich & the Gottman Institute to help facilitate couples therapy. I have specializations in Marriage and Family Therapy and Sex Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the therapeutic process allows us to dissect patterns created through life experience, and choose healthier, more adaptive ways of coping and being. I also believe therapy is like dating. Make sure you find someone who is a great fit for you. Personal interests include: being outside, playing with my boxer pup, hanging with friends and family, exercising, and UGA football.
