I help neurodivergent people living with chronic pain or invisible disability build a life that works with them.

Mental Health Counselor in New York, NY

About My Clients

You may have spent years trying to push through sensory overload, executive-functioning struggles or pain that other people cannot see. A late ADHD or autism diagnosis can bring relief and grief at the same time. I work with children, teens and adults who want to understand their needs, recover from burnout and find ways of living that require less masking and self-blame.

My Background and Approach

My style is relaxed, conversational and gently challenging. We will build the work around how you communicate, process information and regulate, rather than asking you to fit a rigid method. I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, ERP, IFS, narrative and trauma-focused therapy, as well as mindfulness and expressive arts. We might map an overload pattern, find words or images for an experience, practice an accommodation or build a plan for a difficult moment. I will explain the purpose behind what we try and adjust when something does not fit.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am AuDHD, late diagnosed, disabled and an artist, and I live with chronic pain and invisible disability. I also identify as gender-expansive. Those experiences have shown me how damaging it can be when support focuses on appearing more typical instead of feeling safer and more whole. I believe therapy should respect the strategies that helped you survive while making room for play, creativity and choice. Visit my website when you are ready to book your first session with me.
