About My Clients
My clients are teens and adults interested in addressing challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma. My clients are willing to do some work between sessions, as they understand that progress does not happen in a vacuum of the therapy room. I enjoy pulling from a variety of treatment modalities but do not necessarily use one specific approach and my clients will be interested in doing the same, along with examining how their lifestyle & behavior may connect to their mental health
My Background and Approach
I am independently licensed and a board-approved supervisor with nearly ten years of experience providing therapy to students in Baltimore City public schools before transitioning to private practice. I have a strong background in trauma-informed care and approach every new client with this lens. I am trained in ERP, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, yoga, and other evidence-based treatment modalities, though I do not subscribe the belief that any of these are "one size fits all". I believe that one's environment and physical health impact and inform mental health and find it important to work with my clients on addressing all areas of their life. I prefer to work as a team with my clients and any of their other healthcare providers to ensure that the best care is being provided.
