About My Clients
I specialize in supporting adults with ADHD, LGBTQIA+ folx, and trauma survivors, who are navigating challenges including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationships, burn out, PTSD symptoms, nutrition, and chronic illness. I am dedicated to providing an affirming, non-judgemental space where all parts of you are welcome.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. My clinical background includes working in community mental health agencies around Chicago providing community-based care and outpatient therapy to adults struggling with persistent mental health conditions. These settings allowed me to work adaptively with people from all walks of life. Each experience has contributed to how I hold space for clients as well as the values and methods I bring into session. My framework blends humor, curiosity, compassion, art therapy, parts work (IFS), liberation-focused therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR, and DBT through the lens of trauma-informed recovery modalities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My intention is to empower clients in fostering deep-rooted growth and meaningful transformation. I utilize holistic care principles such as restorative energy practice, ecotherapy, cultivating genuine connections, building community and nurturing the interconnected wellness of your body and mind. In our collaborative sessions we will work towards rediscovering and honoring your voice, breaking free from patterns that contribute to feeling overwhelmed or stuck, and unapologetically prioritizing your needs. Together, we will explore personalized strategies to support you in transforming your unique goals into reality.
