About My Clients

*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!* I work with my peers in the LGBTQ+ community & those affected by trauma/PTSD. Do you struggle in your relationships? Are you navigating being queer, trans, or nonbinary? Has trauma significantly impacted your ability to lead a healthy & fulfilling life? I help you uncover patterns, develop healthy coping skills, & learn to experience difficult emotions. I've dedicated my career to serving those in the LGBTQ+ community who are affected by trauma & PTSD.

My Background and Approach

My client's regularly give feedback that they feel safe, lighter, have learned to let go of shame, & have developed helpful coping skills. My practice incorporates LGBTQ+ Affirming therapy, attachment theory, culturally sensitive practices, & is trauma-informed. I've dedicated my career to treating trauma and serving the LGBTQIA+ community. I completed specialized training at WPATH to serve transgender and non-binary clients. I hold my trauma counseling certificate from UW-Milwaukee, completed many specialized trainings to treat PTSD, and trained students & peers to use Prolonged Exposure Therapy. As a queer therapist, my goal is to help you uncover patterns, develop healthy coping skills to use during times of stress, & lead a more fulfilling, values-based life. My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and affirming. I encourage you to set actionable goals. I'm incredibly passionate about working with young college-aged adults, young professionals, and other therapists!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I honor all of my client’s identities, advocate for them both in & outside of sessions, & help folks heal from childhood & sexual trauma. I completed specialized training to treat trauma, and trained with WPATH to serve those in the transgender community. Therapy teaches you how to experience your emotions in healthy ways, uncover patterns, learn that you aren't alone, & gives you space to express yourself without judgement. My goal is to help you uncover a life that's based on your values, affirming, & free from the harmful effects of trauma. I believe that no trauma is too big to recover from. I've walked 100s of clients through their healing and have witnessed true growth, relief, & healing. I love working with young professionals including nurses and and other therapists. Outside of work you’ll find me cooking new vegan recipes with my spouse, being active, & taking care of our spirited older dogs. Schedule your free consultation today!
