I have extensive experience working with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, sensory processing sensitivity (highly sensitive persons), codependency, and more. Additionally, I am specialized in working with adoptees, adoptive parents, birthparents, and families brought together through kinship care.
As a highly sensitive therapist, I enjoy helping other highly sensitive people learn more about their trait and make it work for them. I operate from a place that everything has a "balanced" point. Our job is to help you find balance in your life to thrive at your most optimal level of functioning. I pull techniques from mindfulness based cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and self compassion based therapies.
