About My Clients
Are you feeling isolated, frustrated and at all stuck in life, be it in personal, professional or community relationships? IFS and embodied practices may offer a new lens through which to learn more about yourself and how to access your inherent skills and strengths to create change in your life and strengthen your community connections.
My Background and Approach
I partner with clients to identify and tap into inner strengths and resources, become aware of cognitive and embodied patterns, better understand parts of themselves and find opportunities for change and healing. I strive to offer a supportive, non-judgmental, compassionate environment in which a client and I may co-create a therapeutic alliance to address whatever might be getting in a client’s way. My clients bring in a variety of issues and areas they want to explore, including but not limited to depression, gender identify and expression, anxiety, attentional issues, major life transitions, grief, and complex medical issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a white cis-gendered queer woman. I am committed to creating an environment of respect for and celebration of the race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, marital status, parental status, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical ability, and socioeconomic status of all persons. I strive to provide accessible, queer affirming and multiculturally sensitive services that celebrate the dignity, worth and value of all individuals. In my work with equines and other animals, I incorporate a compassion centered approach built on a foundation of animal welfare, well-being, consent and safety. I believe healing opportunities happen in relationship and community and offer both individual and group based work.
