About My Clients
Have you been struggling to understand your emotions, cope with changes or reduce depression, anxiety or guilt? Through encouragement and empowerment, we will work to cope with the challenges you face. With a HAES and anti-diet lens, I am passionate about working with both men and women to find and maintain freedom from their eating and co-occurring disorders by gently confronting barriers, building on strengths and challenging unhelpful relational and thought patterns.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with people struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, mood disorders and life transitions. Having worked in various levels of care from inpatient to PHP programs specializing in eating disorder treatment I specialize in working with those struggling with anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, and OSFED. I currently work part time for an outpatient eating disorder program.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe anyone can recover from their eating disorder and find food freedom. I believe anyone can build stronger, more resilient self esteem. I believe relationships help heal, and vulnerability is a strength.
