My Background and Approach
I integrate several therapeutic modalities based on the unique needs of each client. From a client-centered base, I bring in elements of attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, internal family systems, and emotion-focused therapy. I believe the client-therapist relationship is of utmost importance and work to create a warm and trusting environment where life transformation can take place. I am also trauma-informed in my practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Resident in Counseling pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia. I am dedicated to fostering a warm, safe, and empathetic environment for my clients to explore, grow, and heal. Using evidence-based practices such as attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology, my approach to therapy is holistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I am also trained in child-centered play therapy, which enhances my work with clients of all ages.
