About My Clients
I’m honored to work with clients from all backgrounds and am especially passionate about supporting teens and adults experiencing OCD, ADHD, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, people-pleasing, academic stress, and relationship concerns. You may be feeling overwhelmed by school pressure, stuck in anxious or obsessive thoughts, or exhausted from trying to meet others’ expectations. Together, we will build coping skills, strengthen self-compassion, and move forward with greater confidence.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, I take a collaborative, client-centered approach, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, validating, and compassionate space where you feel safe exploring difficult emotions and experiences. I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, and I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and older adults. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities, including gay, queer, and LGBTQ+ clients. Everyone is welcome here! Some background—I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola Marymount University, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling at UMass Global. I am supervised by Alexandria Perry, LMFT #128015, expiration 9/30/2027. Feel free to reach out by sending a message below and asking for Kate Allen. I look forward to meeting you!
