About My Clients
Our clients at Fractal Soul are people of all demographics who are ready for lasting change in their quality of life, and committed to doing the work before and after their psilocybin session. Our clients typically are looking to address treatment-resistant depression or anxiety disorders (generalized, OCD or PTS), process and release grief or trauma, or are looking to change their relationship with various substances. Our successful clients are looking to get 'unstuck' and take an active role.
My Background and Approach
Our Staff comes from all walks of life - we have a naturopathic physician, a psychotherapist, two other staff with Master's degrees in psychology. We have a former high school teacher and someone who grew up in various countries in the Persian Gulf. We have neuro-distinct Staff, queer & gender-affirming Staff, etc. All of our Staff are licensed Psilocybin Facilitators by Oregon Health Authority. All are legally licensed to provide psilocybin services in Oregon. For myself (this is Kat) I come from 20+ years of high tech background! However, I have a family history of mental illness and substance abuse, and inherited that generational trauma. I've been a lifelong student of healing, working with emotions, Parts work, Shadow work and finding authentic spirituality. Our Staff believes in the power of earth/plant medicine to help humans live better lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I grew up in a fundamentalist religious household and found that framework no longer worked for me in my mid to late 20's. After spending another 15 years as a skeptical, science-based atheist, I have spent several years investigating authentic spirituality and the connection with something greater than Us. I, and my entire Staff, are able to hold space for a variety of personal, spiritual and religious beliefs. We do have a zero tolerance policy toward abuse, harassment, or offensive comments of any kind toward any race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or any other demographic. We firmly believe that all humans are equal and deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and care. Over half of our Staff are proud LGBTQIA+ card holders, and we also feel honored to serve victims of prior abuse and trauma, and all who feel 'Voiceless'.
