My ideal client is a child, adolescent or adult who is struggling with a recent athletic injury, surgery, chronic pain or chronic illness, who needs support as they heal, or cope with their pain, illness, or lifestyle changes due injury or illness.
My Background and Approach
I am an art therapist specializing in athletic injuries, physical and medical trauma, injury and illness recovery, stress and anxiety reduction, as well as creativity development for artists. I am experienced in providing support to children, adolescents and adults. I received a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Each person is unique and has their own journey and experiences, therefore I take a psychodynamic and humanistic approach to therapy. Our time together will be individualized to meet your needs in a safe, supportive, and judgement-free space. I will bring a variety of tools to our work together such as art making, creative expression, and mindfulness.
