About My Clients
Is your anxiety making it hard to sleep at night or enjoy your days? Is your depression getting in the way of the things you value in life? Do you sometimes feel like your thoughts, feelings, or actions are disconnected from who you are? You are not alone! It's possible to feel better and advocate for your mental health. I work with all range of clients including those affected by trauma, anxiety, depression, nervous system dysregulation, sleep issues, and other struggles with mood and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
My experience in trauma-informed care includes cognitive behavoral therapy, emotional and nervous system regulation, interpersonal skills, mindfulness, somatic methods, and creative arts-based interventions. Being client-centered helps me better understand you and your unique challenges so that we can find the right set of approaches in therapy for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy helps us understand our own stories in ways that help us write fresh chapters when and how we want to. I have worked and lived internationally, interculturally, and with people from all different backgrounds. I am queer affirming and care deeply about disability justice. Healing is resistance and liberation work.
