About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, angry, or unsure of themselves. Facing big life changes, emotional struggles, grief, or low self-esteem, and want to feel understood and supported. I offer a warm, creative, and collaborative space where we can explore inner worlds, build emotional awareness, and gain tools to feel more confident and resilient. My goal is to help young people feel more at ease with who they are and hope about where they’re headed.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is person-centered, with a constant consideration for attachment theory and maintaining a trauma-informed lens. My experience is in educational and community-based settings, I worked within school systems to provide trauma-informed care and implement restorative practices for kids and teens aged 4 to 18+. I worked in tandem with college counseling centers and providing counseling services to their students and staff. Whether helping a child process big emotions or supporting a young adult through life’s challenges, I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients on their journey to self-discovery. I have earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University, with a specialized focus on Play Therapy. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music and Psychology from Florida State University and am an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Play Therapy.

I believe my job as a therapist is to support you in your journey to a happier, healthier life by providing you a safe space to explore who you are, work through issues in your life, and create stronger relationships.
