About My Clients
Clients I work with come into therapy feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves and others. Being first generation and Mexican-American myself, I value understanding the multifaceted being that is you. I welcome exploring the intersectionality of your identity in relation to your healing journey. I specialize in working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, family of origin, grief, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
Sessions are tailored to meet you where you’re at in your healing journey. Together, we will explore the messages your mind and body store by better understanding maladaptive patterns, behaviors, beliefs, and somatic sensations. I draw from a trauma centered and culturally conscious lens. I’m especially passionate about helping my clients heal from the impacts of trauma and reconnecting with their bodies. I utilize a holistic approach that integrates body awareness and mindfulness techniques, primarily pulling from psychodynamic, experiential, mindfulness and somatic-based interventions.

I believe in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship to navigate the uncomfortable, yet rewarding voyage that is therapy. My role consists of providing a warm, non-judgmental, and safe environment to help you foster self-discovery, empowerment, and transformation. I value authenticity and welcome humor in the therapeutic dynamic. You may have reservations around therapy whether it’s your first time ever or first time with me.
