About My Clients
Do you feel anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself? You may be grieving, stuck in a draining relationship, or facing a life change that’s shaken your confidence. I help young and middle-aged adults and couples navigate grief, trauma, relationship struggles, social anxiety, low self-esteem, gender identity, and major transitions. Together, we’ll create a safe, authentic space to unpack your experiences and build strategies to feel grounded, connected, and confident.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor, I have worked with a myriad of populations in diverse treatment settings over the last 9 years of my career. I’ve transitioned to specializing in young and middle-aged adults as well as couples navigating grief, trauma, relationship challenges, social anxiety, low self-esteem, gender identity exploration, life transitions, and executive dysfunction. I provide a non-judgmental, authentic space where we can explore your past and present, identify current stressors, and set measurable goals. My approach blends strengths-based and positive psychology, behavioral activation, mindfulness, solution-focused skills, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you find relief and lasting change. From there, we’d practice small, manageable steps—blending tools like mindfulness, cognitive strategies, and gradual exposure—so you can build confidence and feel more at ease in social situations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, my work is guided by the belief that all people deserve to feel safe, seen, and celebrated for who they are. I am an affirming, supportive space for LGBTQIA+ clients, and I approach therapy with a deep commitment to social justice, equity, and human dignity. My values extend beyond the therapy room. I am passionate about vegan and vegetarian lifestyles, animal rights, and creating a kinder world for all living beings. These principles of compassion, respect, and interconnection influence the way I see healing and human relationships. I also identify as a feminist and believe in challenging harmful systems and narratives that diminish self-worth, especially around gender, sexuality, and body image. I promote sex-positivity, body-positivity, and the idea that you deserve to feel comfortable, confident, and empowered in your own skin—on your own terms.
