I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults with trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, faith transitions, and LGBTQ+ issues. I work with individuals to discover and embrace their authentic selves, free from shame and negative core beliefs.
My Background and Approach
I am a client-centered, trauma-focused therapist. I am trained in EMDR, experiential therapies such as play/sand/art, CBT, DBT, ACT, and IFS. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is crucial in the healing process, and I strive to connect with each client and help them feel accepted in a non-judgmental and safe environment. You don’t have to continue to feel that there is no hope, and you don’t have to go through this struggle alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are resilient, and have within them the capacity to heal and grow. I believe in the worth of all individuals and am passionate about working with those who have been pushed to the margins. Personal experiences and relationships have made me a fierce supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am active in several LGBTQ+ advocacy groups.
