About My Clients
My clients are families seeking gentle, effective support for children with autism, ADHD, or behavioral challenges. Many are navigating stress, burnout, or a history of overwhelming experiences. I use an ACT-informed, trauma-sensitive approach to help parents build connection, emotional safety, and flexible, values-based routines. Together, we reduce challenging behaviors, increase communication, and create a calmer, more supportive home environment.
My Background and Approach
I come from a background of working closely with neurodiverse children and their families to address communication, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges in meaningful, sustainable ways. My approach blends ACT-informed strategies, trauma-sensitive care, and individualized ABA. This means I prioritize connection, emotional safety, and strengthening the parent–child relationship before focusing on skill-building or behavior change. I help families understand the “why” behind behaviors, build routines that feel manageable, and use supportive, values-driven tools that reduce stress instead of adding to it. My work is collaborative and respectful of each child’s history and needs, helping families create environments where their child feels understood, capable, and emotionally supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every child deserves support that honors their individuality, strengths, and lived experiences. My philosophy is rooted in neurodiversity-respectful and trauma-informed care that avoids power struggles and compliance-focused interventions. I see behavior as a form of communication, and I believe meaningful progress comes from relationship, predictability, and emotional connection—not pressure. I help families build routines and responses aligned with their values, using ACT-informed tools that promote flexibility, regulation, and resilience. I believe in working with a child’s nervous system, not against it, and in empowering parents with gentle, practical strategies that reduce stress and nurture long-term growth for the whole family.
