About My Clients
My goal is to assist my clients with exploring their identity and the many obstacles they may face along the way. My space is always affirming no matter if you’re cisgender, transgender, non-binary, kinky, or poly. All are welcomed and supported.
My Background and Approach
I primarily utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach in my counseling, but also client-centered, systemic, and creative approaches as well. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and tailoring therapy to their individual needs. We will work collaboratively to improve daily functioning and achieve a higher quality of life. My hope is that you will feel empowered and happier in the changes that you may make. If you are in need of assessment for gender-affirming services, I have experience in providing the necessary documentation to satisfy those requirements as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is frustrating to live in a world where you often feel misunderstood or even like an outsider. I know what that is like. As a member of the LGBTQ+, Black, poly, and kink/BDSM community, finding a counselor who aligns with your needs is not a foreign concept to me. Well, I am here to help because the truth is you are just exceptionally unique! My passion is to make mental health services more accessible to ALL, especially BIPOCs! To provide a safe and affirming space to marginalized groups in hopes of assisting folx through life's many challenges while empowering them at the same time.
