Trauma has a profound effect on an individual and their loved ones and can affect every aspect of their lives. My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I approach therapy from a systemic standpoint. This means we do not exist in a bubble, there is a cause and effect that occurs in every relationship. I specialize in working with adolescents, families, and couples to communicate and relate in a more effective manner. I am trained in the use of many different models and utilize each depending on the need of each unique client system. I am trained in EMDR, EFIT, and DBT
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Faith is as unique as each individual. I consider myself a Christian therapist and was trained from a Christian lens. I am comfortable incorporating one's faith and beliefs into sessions if one desires, however, this is completely controlled by the client. I am also an LGBTQIA+ ally and have previously volunteered with the suicide prevention text hotline.
