About My Clients
Karmen specializes in working with PTSD, Anxiety and Life Transitions. As a Certified Daring Way Facilitator, Karmen helps to explore courage, shame, vulnerability as well as identify new choices and practices that will move us toward a more authentic and whole hearted life. Karmen has exceptional experience treating a variety of issues as she serves as Clinical Director of a residential treatment center for 13 years. Karmen believes in helping you find your true self through pain and victories.
My Background and Approach
Karmen worked in substance abuse treatment for 13 years and helped clients through not only substance abuse but what is underneath them to include, PTSD, anxiety, depression, gender identity issues and more. Karmen uses EMDR and the shame resiliency work of Dr Brené Brown to help her client's navigate the life they want to live.
