About My Clients

I work best with clients who feel misunderstood or "too much" in other spaces. Many of my clients come in carrying complex emotions, past trauma, or intense relationships. I often serve individuals with mood disorders, personality disorder traits, eating disorders, or who are navigating identity, grief, and life transitions. My ideal client is ready to explore their inner world—even if they’re scared to start—and is open to building a trusting, authentic connection.

My Background and Approach

My approach blends structure with deep empathy. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and integrative techniques to create a space where clients feel supported and challenged. I specialize in complex cases—including clients with Borderline Personality Disorder traits, trauma histories, and co-occurring disorders. I’ve worked in both individual and group therapy settings and deeply believe in tailoring care to the client’s lived experience, culture, and values. I’m trained to recognize progress that isn’t always linear, and I prioritize practical strategies that lead to emotional insight and behavioral change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every client deserves to feel respected, safe, and valued. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, and I strive to remain aware of the unique backgrounds, identities, and experiences each person brings into the room. I aim to create an environment where clients from all walks of life feel genuinely accepted and understood. I am especially passionate about working with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, identity, and belonging. Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy creative writing, exploring nature, and spending time with the people who make me feel most like myself. Therapy is deeply relational, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they grow, heal, and reclaim their stories.
