We also help you learn to challenge thoughts and beliefs that interfere with your life. Using coping skills to regulate the nervous system and cognitive-behavioral tools, we support you in generating more balanced and accurate thoughts about situations.

Depression is a serious condition that may not always be understood by others. Managing daily responsibilities can feel overwhelming. We help clients first understand their symptoms so they can monitor and manage them more consistently. We support you in building strength to navigate your situation or grief and in identifying thoughts that may affect your mood, guiding you to develop more helpful, balanced ways of thinking. All work is done at your pace.

Living with PTSD can be challenging, and you may not have fully processed the events that impacted you. There is no pressure to process them in therapy until you feel ready. We help you understand your symptoms, how your body is coping, and ways to significantly reduce these symptoms so you can be more present in your life and with your loved ones. If you choose to explore processing, we will first equip you with the skills to do so safely.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a supportive talk therapy that helps you manage strong emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships. It teaches skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication to help you feel more balanced and in control.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy designed to help people heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. When we go through difficult events, our brains sometimes get “stuck” on the memories, causing ongoing stress, anxiety, or negative beliefs about ourselves. EMDR helps your brain process these memories safely, reducing their emotional impact so they feel less overwhelming or painful.
