About My Clients

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients experience emotional overwhelm connected to work, relationships, or financial stress and are seeking practical tools and meaningful change in a supportive environment.

My Background and Approach

I provide a supportive, trauma-informed therapeutic space where adults can explore what’s holding them back, build emotional strength, and begin creating the life they want to live. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients develop practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, and life’s challenges at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. As a financial social worker, I have a special interest in supporting clients who experience financial stress. I integrate practical tools such as budgeting and goal-setting with deeper exploration of money scripts, financial trauma, and the emotional impact of financial experiences. As an immigrant, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges that can come with navigating new systems, cultural expectations, and intergenerational experiences. This lived experience informs my work with individuals from marginalized and historically underrepresented communities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process that honors each person’s lived experience, cultural background, and resilience. For many first-generation and immigrant individuals, mental health is shaped by family expectations, cultural values, systemic barriers, and the pressure to succeed or provide for others. I believe healing happens when these experiences are understood in context, not pathologized, and when care is compassionate, culturally responsive, and practical. Therapy should support both emotional well-being and the real-life challenges people face, helping clients build clarity, confidence, and a sense of stability as they move forward.
