Losing someone can be one of the loneliest and most devastating events, often leaving people feeling angry, whiplashed, breathless, and numb. Grief counseling provides a supportive space for individuals to navigate the intensely painful emotions associated with loss. We help clients process their experiences, hold space for their pain, and find ways to cope with this new reality. Supportive therapy can help soothe this immense pain and offer a breath of air.

Trauma profoundly alters lives, leaving survivors grappling with insomnia, loss of appetite, hyper-vigilance, isolation, flashbacks, and more. These symptoms can create a pervasive sense of fear and danger, keeping the nervous system perpetually on edge and making one feel unsafe. Our unique practice in nontraditional modalities focuses on reducing trauma symptoms, calming the nervous system, cognitive processing, and activating the right hemisphere to promote holistic, full-brain healing.

Creative expressive art therapy is a whole-brain therapeutic approach that helps clients discover new insights beyond traditional talk therapy and harnesses the healing power of creativity to process emotions, experiences, and enhance various skills such as problem-solving, communication, and self-regulation. The focus is on the process of creating rather than the artistic value of the produced work.

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate, child-centered therapeutic approach that uses play to help children express their emotions and experiences on their level, allowing them to communicate feelings and ideas they may not yet have the words to express. Through play, children can process trauma, navigate grief, and work through behavioral issues in a brave and supportive environment.
