All it takes is a little bit of adulting to realize that right about when we think we have it all together, life throws us a curveball. These instances can leave us feeling stuck – stuck in unhealthy patterns and behaviors, in feelings of anxiety or depression, and even in relational conflicts that seem impossible. However, here’s a glimmer of hope…you have the ability to move beyond “just surviving” and toward a place where you can truly thrive.
My Background and Approach
I received my bachelor’s degree in English with my teaching credential from California State University, Northridge. After ten years as a high school teacher (and my own internal struggles with what my life was “supposed” to look like), I pivoted and earned a master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from University of Phoenix. I am currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#137574). Therapy is a place without judgment, where you can feel seen and known...which is also what can make it seem just a little scary. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space where you can feel open to work through challenges, nurture your strengths, and develop new patterns. You can feel better, and you don’t have to get there on your own.
