About My Clients
My clients are multicultural—I work with anyone regardless of genders, religion, background, sexuality, or favorite ice cream flavor. My approach is to empower individuals to achieve their goals while supporting lasting positive change in their lives. The scope of my practice includes teens and adults in every stage of life. My Background and Approach
The focus of my practice is helping older children, adolescents and adults who are struggling with issues of anxiety, depression, and panic disorders, I can also help with PTSD, trauma, self-harm, self-esteem issues and struggles with sexual orientation and identity. Using the CBT-derived, “third-wave” therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), along with mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), my goal is to become an ally to clients as they identify their personal values and utilize new tools and techniques to achieve their goals. I have been trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and sandtray and have already found success using them to help clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personally, in life and in my practice, I am passionate about social justice causes such as LGBTQ+ rights, racism, women’s rights, and environmental protection. I strive to meet people “where they are” with nothing but respect and without judgement. I hope to never stop learning and striving to create a positive difference in the lives of my clients and in my community.
