About My Clients
***Currently not accepting new clients*** I work with clients from all walks of life—whoever you are, wherever you are on your path, I welcome you just as you are. I connect well with clients who are curious about themselves & the world, have a sense of humor, and are motivated to engage in the process of therapy. I particularly enjoy working with folks who are new to therapy and those who are motivated to roll their sleeves up and get to work.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Masters of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College, am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington. My practice involves treating folks who struggle with depression, bipolar, trauma, grief, personality disorders, and anxiety disorders. My experience also includes working with queer, trans, and non-binary people, as well as survivors of interpersonal violence and abuse.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our lives are difficult to manage alone and we live in a world that can feel isolating, overwhelming, and marginalizing. Let's work together to strengthen and heal your relationships, amplify your self directed wisdom, and clarify your personal goals. Along the way we will build insight into relational patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that no longer serve you to make way for growth. As your therapist, you will find me direct and approachable. I see therapy as a partnership--a process in which we are both engaged. I have an eclectic approach to counseling, drawing from a variety of change-oriented, insight-building intervention styles. I offer treatment plans specifically tailored to the needs of each client. No two people are the same, and therefore no two treatment approaches will be the same.
